“It’s nice for your business, it is legal for the country.” The rap lyrics sung by MC Mãe summarizes the motto of the movement “Legalize Apprentice”, the Roberto Marinho Foundation launches this Friday, April 24, the International Young Worker’s Day. The campaign seeks to draw the attention to the importance of including young people (between the ages of 14 and 24) in the world of work, by creating employment opportunities and providing education and training. Legal Apprentice Program
The Legal Apprentice program prepares young people, aged 14 to 24, to enter the world of work and helps them get their first job. It also helps companies comply with the Apprentice Law (law number 10.097/2000), which sets quotas for medium-sized and large companies of between 5% and 15% for hiring apprentices.
